This is a large-scale transformation program of works with Executive sponsorship and direct engagement with frontline. • Build customer relationships with key suppliers of fuel and oil and manufacturers of technologies associated with improving the fuel efficiency of locomotives. Achievements• Led the Energy Team in large scale transformation and operational improvement which resulted in three consecutive years of fuel and energy metric improvements of 17.2%.• Developed the first Aurizon Fuel Plan which brought governance and transparency to transformation activities and enabled program management and visibility of outcomes. • Led the development of the Train Management Scorecard through an agile project team to harness big data to be used for management decision making and frontline compliance and monitoring. • Implemented the $4.7m Bulk Fuel Management System (BFMS) at 20 automated sites and 70+ web saving $1.4m in labour per annum.
