I am Liam Anthony Binding from Shrewsbury, Shropshire. I went to a special needs school/ Academy for about 15 years because i live with a disability (that is as the following: learning difficulties, Asthma and eczema well as having craniosynostosis since i was a baby), before moving over to Futures ( based with Severndale academy on SCG London Road) for 5 years from 2017 to 2022 to which i left when the HM QUEEN ELIZABETH ii passed away as being the longest reigning Monarch of all time. I forgot to mention that i was diagnosed with Crohn's disease since I was 18 years old in my small intestine. When I first started being a student from January 2023 at Shrewsbury College Groups, I had started the course (which I did a College Ready Course for 3 days a week) very well and went on to achieve some amazing things until the end of the academic year of 2022-23 like passing my English Entry level 3, Speaking and listening and DOFE Bronze award. However in my second academic year of 2023/24, I was also doing work experience in a small shop on Shrewsbury College Groups London Road Campus called The Darwin on Monday and Tuesday from 9am until 10am on both days. whilst I was doing the work experience, i have had excellent experience with being on the till serving both Students and staff, also making and serving them hot drinks to them, on the ofter hand, I do put new of left over stock on the selfs. My only bit of criticism I would say about myself is timing because I can find it different to find something on the till to put though and don't know where it is or what to put it down as. On the ofter things I had been doing the Asdan Life Skills, realising Aspirations, English Level 1, Maths Entry level 3 and John Muir award. With the John Muir award, I had participate by going out to local places like the National Trust and forestry England to explore new places and to see if there is anything that is different and new, also l had revisited any places that l have visited before to see if there is anything new or different that I have not seen and I had to take photos/ pictures as part of my evidence towards the award. I am very happy with what I did and achieved during the my time at the Shrewsbury Colleges Group London Road Campus, l hopefully when I finshed my education with Shrewsbury Colleges Groups, I know that I can be very proud that I have learnt new skills and experiences during my life time.
