My Event Manager role has been highly engaging since I began at Wasing Park. Gaining a foot back into the industry I love and allowing me to sharpen my tools and learn a lot of new things in the process. Wasing Park is a dedicated wedding venue purely functioning as that throughout the year with a few small corporate events to fill gaps in the calendar.

As a Customer Service co-worker, I support the company in creating a customer- focused culture. I serve customers directly offering a friendly and knowledgeable service. This was a role to continue working during the pandemic.

COVID 19 RedundancyThe Meetings & Events Assistant Operations Manager role is a key member of the M&E department and provides support in the development, organization and delivery of meetings and events for internal and external customers on site.• Organized and managed events for up to 1,000 delegates and regular forum events (100 delegates) as well as weddings, team building events and conferences • Assisting with arranging multiple events occurring in same timescale• First point of contact for all delegate and event enquiries• Responsible for budget spend for events, up to £20,000• Managing supplier relationships • Communicating with external stakeholders• Reporting to Events Managers on delegates, providing event updates• Liaising with accounts, suppliers and clients regarding invoices• Fulfilment of products/services order, such as AV services, conference materials, awards, delegate items
