I am a driven and enthusiastic individual who found my passion for literature and journalism during my college years. Born and raised in a small town, I have developed a deep appreciation for books and their ability to transport readers to different worlds. As I pursued higher education, I discovered an opportunity to combine my love for literature and my interest in journalism by working as a student library assistant and contributing to my college newspaper's archive.During my undergraduate studies, I joined the library team as a student library assistant. My role involved various responsibilities, such as shelving books, assisting patrons with research inquiries, and managing the organization of the library's vast collection. My attention to detail and dedication to providing excellent service made me an invaluable asset to the library staff.Driven by my passion for storytelling and a desire to showcase the rich history of my college, I approached the newspaper staff and proposed a collaboration. I joined forces with the newspaper team to bring the archive to life, working tirelessly to digitize old issues, transcribe articles, and curate an online platform that would serve as a virtual time capsule. Using past content to reach out and feature Alumni's contributions after graduation. Through my dual roles as a student library assistant and a contributor to the college newspaper archive, I honed my organizational skills, attention to detail, and research abilities. I also developed a keen eye for storytelling and an appreciation for the power of words. My dedication to preserving and sharing the history of my college not only left a lasting impact on the institution but also solidified my commitment to pursuing a career that follows my recently acquired history degree.
