Engineering Project Manager, responsibility for managing projects through conceptual, design, installation and commissioning phases. Managed robotic palletiser projects, planned entire production line moves and co-ordinated site shutdown / technology transfer activities. Global technology owner for robotics equipment on all platform fragrance production lines across multiple sites. - Successfully defined, planned and managed the project for a semi collaborative robotic palletising solution. The system delivers £150k in savings per year plus significantly improves the safety aspects of end of line palletisation. After developing this technical solution it became the new standard for Coty palletising applications globally. - Maintained multiple production lines across multiple sites in Europe to 98% identical status by controlling change management systems as the robotics systems owner, saving $50k in vendor upgrade costs.

Project Engineer leading the robotic segment of a large multi-million dollar project to manage, FAT, install and commission multiple fragrance production lines across several sites. Responsible for the robotics equipment budget which was in excess of 5 Million USD. The role involved managing vendors across multiple countries on a tight project timeline, testing the equipment based on rigorous criteria, installing the equipment and commissioning the line while meeting all safety, quality and design requirements.- Successfully managed multiple vendors across North America to deliver the robotics segments of 3 separate production lines, equipment was delivered 3 weeks ahead of schedule and within budget. Role included rigorous vendor acceptance testing, project planning, line installation, qualification and start-up.- Managing project budgets in excess of 5M USD, project segment closed within budget. Day to day management of large teams of contractors and equipment operators.- Successful installation, qualification and start-up of cap pressing and labelling equipment given short notice and no prior knowledge of technology; 1 week ahead of schedule.- Coached and managed 6 process engineers within the robotics and vision system technologies equipment areas.

Process Engineer working on multiple production lines producing a wide range of different perfume and hair colourant products. Responsibilities included solving complex problems, training line teams, developing equipment standards and calculated centreline systems. Heavily involved in the design and testing of robotic and vision system technologies, and became the site owner of both of these technologies. - Delivered 1.3% unplanned downtime result across all robotic technologies on a lead model fragrance production line through various problem solving and technology improvement projects.- Developed full range of Cognex vision system programs and standards and rolled out to all production lines including development and delivery of full 3 day training package to line teams and engineers. Met 0.015% false reject rate target and zero quality issues.- Developed robotics and vision system changeover and trial time improvements. Reduced trial time by 83% and enabled robotics and vision systems to achieve target of 5 min changeover.- Upgraded Proficy data collection system for new production lines – delivered ability to collect daily stops data for all machines in a transparent and simple method, saving 50% of stops analysis time and greatly improving data accuracy.

Project management role involving seeing site projects through from, identification, design, execution through to commissioning. I worked within a team on larger projects (up to £150K) and manage smaller projects (up to £50K) on an individual basis. My role also included day to day problem solving within the production environment as well as work within health and safety aspects such as site audits and HAZOP reviews.
