o Leading a team of 5 engineers with varying technical capabilities, directing and supporting them to succeed in high pressure situations.o Mentoring and providing training where necessary.o Appraisals and assisting manager with interviews.o Designing new magnetics for existing designs, and reviewing designs of the CTO.o Work on thermal management with magnetics, MOSFET heatsinking and vacuum potting process.o Technical lead for electric motor design, with a main focus on the electronics and magnetics.

o Design of 2-3kW power supplies used in bi-directional solar inverters. These include Buck, Boost and Full bridge designs.o Custom magnetics designs including a mains output filter.o Producing power electronics PCB’s, both 2 and 4 layer, with high density copper plating >4oZo Test and validation of new designs, aiding integration and providing technical expertise on issues faced

o Lead system power supply designer.o Innovative design and creation from environmental scanning and further development.o Prototype build and performance; stability, reliability and efficiency testing.o Create engineering schematic drawings.o Produce Gantt charts and progress reports to monitor project.o Mentor technicians in fault finding and provide advanced technical knowledge.o Contribute further to projects by assisting engineering team peers.
