My role within Formaplex has grown as the company has, I started as a FARO Arm Inspector within the fast paced environment of Formula one. I moved on to become Head of Metrology in Composites, along the way I developed training resources for the use of FARO arms. As the company changed so did I, I became Head of Quality Composites which saw me utilising the experience and knowledge I had learned over the years, not only as a Metrology Engineer but also a Quality Engineer, during this period it was essential to get firmly on top of our right first time requirement, we showed improvement month on month, year on year, this is something I am very proud to have been part of.Formaplex Technologies has been growing and withit comes change, this has meant that change to the Organisational chart had to happen and once again my tasking/job role changed, currently I am Group Quality Control Manager, this role not only allows me to draw on my experiences in management but also keeps me firmly settled back within a Metrology/Control background, yet still having the ability to assist with our Engineering team to help improve situations/processes and procedures.
