As an avid gamer, in late 2019, I set myself a personal challenge of turning my hobby into something more meaningful. I started my own Twitch streaming channel and built an audience of viewers, ultimately leading to me gaining corporate sponsorships, and finally Twitch Partnership. I have also led a number of charity fundraising streams, and am part of a ‘team’ of like minded people - aiming to support the LGBTQ+ community.

The NCA is the government agency responsible for fighting serious and organised crime. My role was to organise and facilitate the delivery of financial investigation training to police forces, authorities, and other government agencies across the UK and the Crown Dependencies. As part of this role, I managed the email inbox and telephone switchboard for the training team, dealing with the large number of queries that were received. I was also responsible for publishing courses onto our internal booking website, and then overseeing candidates progress from initial booking through to certification; this included arranging venues, coordinating trainers, managing equipment, and producing course materials. I was the ‘training SPoC’ (special person of contact) for my team and as such I attended quarterly meetings and scheduled any internal training courses which my colleagues required.
