Head Coach
CurrentMoved to the United States to work full time in coaching. Appointed as head coach for four teams, B14 Green, B08 White, B11 White, & G13 Black.In my role it is also my duty to help contribute to the club in other ways such as social media, promotion and marketing.Responsibilities include:• Coaching and leading my teams in line with the clubs curriculum of progressive play style and positive principles whilst building an environment in which the players feel comfortable to enjoy playing football. • Plan, prepare and deliver training sessions in an appropriate way dependant on the ages of the groups in which we examine how we can improve based on our match performances.• Match day roles such as team selection, warm ups, tactics and in game management.• Player first mentality where I try to help my players move up to the higher levels when possible.• Coaching other groups when necessary like for example our micro academy which helps kids from 4-6 years old become introduced to the club and the sport and also helping players in their post season. • When time allows shadowing high level qualified coaches by observing and sometimes taking parts of their sessions to receive feedback and learn from them.• Sometimes overseeing and evaluating coaches to help guide them and give constructive feedback. • Office admin hours to do a variety of tasks such as plan sessions. match day preparation, coach education, match reports, player evaluations and feedback, and club promotion through social media and marketing. • Lead the clubs social media pages and produce content.
