I am someone with extensive experience in theatre and film. Starting out my career as an actor I quickly found myself working at theatres such Lewisham Youth Theatre and Blue Elephants Theatre. I have worked as an assistant, director, acting coach and with many different groups of people with the two mentioned theatres having a focus on people in poorer communities/disabled people for example. My theatre work has been supported by my theatre education including having studied for a year at the National Youth Theatre.Outside of the theatre I also have had a long relationship with film. Having studied it at a BA and a MA level I have a deep insight into film making, especially from a directing and cinematography perspective. I have shot a few short films and have acted in a couple full length independent films, as well was working within other projects like educational films and commercials. Having spent more than a decade working in and around film and theatre has taught me a lot about the industries, the differing challenges and experiences.
