Led and project-managed a multinational team spread across three countries in a research study examining the relationship between tax rates and competitiveness, to be published.Used STATA to conduct econometric analysis and provide rigourous evidence-based policy recommendations. Wrote the final 30-page report, where I conveyed complex economic concepts in a clear and concise style to be accessible to a wide audience including journalists and government ministries. Prepared and delivered a presentation on Zambia's statistical capacity to representatives from the World Bank, UN and government ministries.Designed and implemented the ‘Zambian Business Confidence Index’, which is a quarterly survey measuring the perceptions of the Zambian business environment.Provided macroeconomic advice regarding issues such as domestic borrowing, currency depreciation and economic diversification in response to press queries from the national newspapers.

Door-to-door fundraiser for two NGOs, Practical Action and EveryChild, who focus on long-term development strategies. Raised a projected figure of over £40,000 in a two-month period.Finished in the top 15% of performers.Showed a consistent improvement in performance over the internship.
