His unmatched expertise in applying Lean Principles – without compromise – coupled with the leadership skills necessary to implement them and ensure long-term success, have been recognized by major international institutes and journals.CAREER HIGHLIGHTSLiam began his career in operational roles at General Motors in the UK and eventually rose to become a Senior Operations Manager, as well as General Manager of Lean Practices for Gillette and Procter & Gamble. During his tenure, he established benchmark sites in Ireland, Europe, USA, India, and China. Notably, he was assigned to prepare a large operation in the USA mid-west for closure, but instead, he led a Lean Transformation Program that, within 2 years, eliminated China and Mexico as competitive threats and transformed it into the best-performing operation in the global organization.PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENTLiam holds a Post Graduate diploma in Education and Training from Sheffield University, as well as a diploma in Manufacturing and Operations Management from the Irish Management Institute.
