On a functional level, this involves a great deal of planning alongside users to best understand and capture business needs, with the aim of delivering constant business improvements. This can include collaborative work with outside partners or working with the fantastic team of in-house business system developers to produce impressive process upgrades and refinements. The foundations of the functional support we provide as a team is built upon our understanding of IFS and the corresponding business processes the system mirrors, a strong resource throughout the team. The incredible knowledge passed down from both management and senior end users has greatly improved my understanding of IFS, strengthening my ability to effectively contribute to business optimisation. On a technical front, my role entails proficient utilisation of SQL and Excel, including VBA and Power Query, to engineer custom reports and elevate user functionality in alignment with business imperatives. I have also developed my understanding of Python and PHP through exposure to projects upgrading legacy systems. I expect my skillset to broaden considerably due to the ambitious nature of the company, especially within the realms of machine learning and AI. Show less
