- Grow and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets to ensure the landing of proactive media coverage and assist with media inquiries. - Contribute to content creation via articles, blog posts, and social media content.- Monitor media coverage to evaluate consumer sentiment and respond to any issues.- Assist in managing campaigns to oversee integrated communication projects to ensure they align with business goals and reach target audience via owned and earned channels.

- Execute and plan internal and external communications and events which amplify messages about the business ’reputation, innovation and service delivery- Drive collaboration through partnerships with industry and community groups with shared interests and objectives - Foster the development of internal culture and employee engagement through internal communication channels including in-house media and ex-co messaging- Implement innovative strategies to drive employee engagement with business vision and purpose and assist in workplace change messaging

- Maximize connections, mutual understanding and trust with key stakeholders. - Plan, design, and deliver stakeholder engagement strategies that protect and enhance nbn's reputation as a valued industry partner. - Attend stakeholder engagement activities such as events, forums, small groups and workshops to find mutual business opportunities for nbn and partners.- Assist in developing tools, resources, and support programs to build stakeholder engagement confidence and capability skills across the team. Positioning nbn as an organisation with competitive and intangible value-adds.

- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitor activities- Align team’s around brand’s direction, choices and tactics as well as ensure protection of brand identity through written and visual markers - Brief creative agencies on campaign activities and design executions - Contribute creative collateral for in-house marketing - Review external and internal messaging for brand consistency - Review brand and reputation data

- Format and edit podcast stories- Ensure deadlines and Associated Press (AP) standards are upheld- Assist with research and new briefs including sourcing new guests and researching experts- Copywriting

- Improving the social media marketing of clients through strategy creation, content creation, advertising management and/or community management. - Working with staff and volunteers to achieve extensive social media reach and engagement with limited resources. -Auditing client websites and creating long-form blog content.
