I am a recently graduated mechanical engineer that has a wide variety of skills and proficiencies. Due to my interests in robotics I spent most of my adult life working with robots and developing practical skills in the creation of robotic systems. However, as time went on I learnt that I have a natural affinity and a intense interest for research project work.I currently hold a role as a research engineer in which I do a wide variety of tasks. One of my main jobs in the lab is to manage laboratory resources, purchases, and manufacturing orders. But I started my job in the lab developing data collection and analysis software on the AFO project. From there I was transferred to the CTRI project in which we spent time developing a portable actuator for an exo-boot.I have spent a large portion of my high school career learning about robotics and technology development. Learning either in school, in extra curricular activities, and in my own time. Largely due to the fact that I find subjects like this to be more of a passion or hobby rather than a job. When I entered college I learnt about how to power through adversity and difficult times as I continued to take classes during covid. During those times, I learnt how to quickly adapt to challenging and unfamiliar situations. Those times also developed my desire to constantly develop my technical understandings and skills in my free time, making me more technically savvy than my professional experience would suggest.
