Manage Day Services for adults with varying abilities and disabilities across North Hertfordshire, ranging from those with high complex care and behavioural needs to older people and the associated needs that can present with ageing, including dementia.Service delivery is community focused with the service user at the centre of everything we do. With a skilled staff team of 83 we provide opportunities from 2 purpose built units and from 5 community venues in partnership with others.I'm totally committed to staff development using our management and development scheme to enable continuing professional learning for our in house staff, along with providing placement opportunities for social care apprentices and social workers.Having developed services within local communities for many years we have forged strong partnerships which provide a variety of opportunities for our service users on a daily basis. With the implementation of current policies and legislations we are keen to ensure our services are second to none and will showcase the good practice that we strive to achieve within Adult Social Care for Hertfordshire County Council.With the robust systems that ACS have always installed to monitor and review our working practices, starting from staff induction, skills for care, continual professional development, in house and external auditing, and having held ISO accreditation for over 10 years, along with the support from other departments such as HR, IT and property colleagues I am confident our services will continue to deliver the best outcomes to service users for years to come.
