Technical Assistance: Provided technical assistance to university staff when operating the TV and virtual production studios to ensure that classes were smooth and without issues.Studio and Equipment Troubleshooting: Developed a strong understanding of the TV studio, familiarizing myself with the individual pieces of equipment within it, which allowed me to assist the staff and students in using the equipment by fixing any issues that would arise while they were using it.Studio Tours: Regularly interacted with visitors and prospective students, introduced them to the facilities in the media center and provided guided tours of the studios, showcasing the equipment and the things that can be created using it.Outside Broadcast Kit: Took the lead with the university’s outside broadcasting kit, providing demonstrations to students and staff on its operation as well as actively using the kit for classes and events.Academic Duties: Assisted the academic staff during classes, helping to teach students how to use cutting edge virtual production technology that was recently installed in the university.Equipment Installation: Assisted with the installation of new equipment across both of the studios which gave me a strong understanding of how the studio’s hardware was set up.Social Media Content Creation: Took responsibility for creating social media content for the university’s Instagram and TikTok account allowing me to develop a strong understanding of the Adobe software Suite and how to use it to create effective social media content.
