Part of a team responsible for the underwriting of proposals for customers submitted from some of the largest motor dealers in the UK. In a fast paced environment I have succeeded in the careful analysis of each finance proposal, ensuring that new business intake coheres to company policy and strategy, and is also commercially viable with maximum possible return for the company but with minimal risk. This has led me to accolades such as employee of the month and also a £30,000 underwriting mandate (which until recently was only available to Branch Managers). Other duties include Dealer reviews, which involves analysing the efficiencies, strengths and weaknesses of our supporting dealerships, and also the benefits they bring to our organisation; such as volumes, margins and risk factors. I am also a strong relationship builder/manager through dealer visits and excellent customer service - this has significantly added business volume from certain channels within the dealer-base.
