Athlone

As Head of Lending with Athlone Credit Union my role is extremely diverse and enjoyable. Some core elements include responsibility for the development and continual improvement of lending policies and procedures for the Credit Union.I am also responsible for the development and implementation of new lending products. Since my appointment in conjunction with the strong management team of Athlone Credit Union we have introduced a very successful mortgage product and the agricultural lending product (Cultivate) as well as new personal lending products. Another core element of my role is the design and implementation of robust credit underwriting processes, procedures and tools. We have developed a bespoke personal lending assessment tool and introduced a standardised assessment tool for SME and Agricultural loans. We have also developed and implemented a highly efficient and prudent mortgage underwriting process.

Roscommon

In this role I gained huge experience in all areas of lending and credit underwriting. I was initially part of the branch retail team dealing with all personal loan queries. I quickly moved into the area of SME and Agricultural credit. After a number of years in this role I joined a Credit Underwriting team responsisible for the assessment and approval of SME Credit application up to €1million. During my time with AIB I won national awards for cutomer service and business development. This is a very brief outline of my time with AIB. The experince I gained during my time there was much more diverse and valuable then this brief outline may convey. I really enjoyed my time working in AIB.

Kiltimagh

I was the Business Development manager for the Volume team within CMS Peripherals. As part of my role I cover the whole of Ireland. I also deal with all aspects of the CMS Portfolio from the Consumer products we distribute up to the vendors we carry that supply disaster recovery hardware and software.

Mullingar

My duties wree to manage advertising accounts and develop new business on a weekly basis
