Policy Development:-Conducting research, identifying areas of relevance to the development industry, and developing UDIA’s policy positions-Preparing submissions to government inquiries and consultations-Coordinating and producing UDIA’s flagship annual research report, the State of the Land Report, and managing and negotiating the agreement with our 3rd party data provider. Stakeholder engagement:-Building UDIA’s relationship with government, media and other stakeholders through meetings and regular correspondence. -Representing UDIA at various industry forums, events, and parliamentary hearings. -Providing regular written updates to UDIA’s membership regarding recent policy developments and other news.-Writing and publishing UDIA’s quarterly national member communication piece. Communications-Writing speeches and preparing presentations for UDIA officials. -Preparing briefing notes and supporting materials for UDIA officials for use in meetings, and in decision making. -Writing letters and other correspondence to politicians, departmental officials and other stakeholders. Media and Advocacy-Preparing media releases regarding UDIA’s position on current media issues.-Engaging journalists and responding rapidly to time critical media requests for comment. -Monitoring of media activities.
