About Liam Gotimer
Hello! My name is Liam Gotimer, and I’m the current Director of Broadcasting & Communications for the Atlanta Gladiators of the ECHL. I have an extremely deep love & passion for broadcasting hockey. It’s been my dream since day one, and fulfilling it with the Gladiators is an absolute pleasure and privilege. Prior to working with Atlanta, I had the valuable opportunity to intern with the Savannah Ghost Pirates during their inaugural season. In this role, I worked directly under the Director of Broadcasting & Communications, helping with in-game broadcast elements, media relations, and more. I’m always looking to expand my network and get to know more individuals within the sports broadcasting field. Director Of Broadcasting And Communications
In this role, I serve as the play-by-play voice for all 72 Atlanta Gladiators games, broadcasted on Flo Hockey, YouTube, and occasionally Peachtree TV. In addition, I head all social media content, serve as the lead contact for all communications, and manage media relations for the club. In addition, I’ve orchestrated many corporate partnerships between the Gladiators and local businesses.
Media Relations Assistant
In this role, I’ve been working directly under the Director of Broadcasting for the Ghost Pirates, Cristiano Simonetta. My responsibilities include but are not limited to, creating each game’s highlight package, assembling media materials for outlets attending games/practices, interviewing coaches and players, producing and voicing promotional materials all the while becoming better immersed with other aspects of the organization simultaneously. I also am a firm believer in making my own opportunities. With that in mind, I’ve taken the initiative to do play-by-play in a separate booth from Cristiano, so that on certain game-days I can still practice and continue to get better at my craft.
