In this role, I was the business design lead on the multi-million pounds project to enhance and grow the award-winning Parcel Collect offering.Key Achievements:Analysing a large backlog of customer requirements to prioritise new features for development, leading to a 10X YOY growth in customer uptake.Identifying and modelling benefits to support 7 and 8 figure investment requests.Leading development of third party integrations via APIs to enable partners such as eBay and Amazon to integrate and offer the service locally within their platforms, leading to 7 figure revenue growth.Coordinating UX experts and business stakeholders to redesign Royal Mail's Digital Tracked Returns Portal to support uptake of Parcel Collect via this channel.

I moved from Royal Mail's Account Management team to its New Business function, directly accountable for business development and winning market share from competitors.Key Achievements:Successfully generating £0.5m in new revenue by analysing customer requirements and pitching combined solutions from Royal Mail's Parcel and Digital Shipping Solution portfolio.Systematically managing a high volume pipeline of over 100 simultaneous opportunities from identification, pitching, negotiation, concurrence, implementation and early life support.Designing integrated marketing solutions for customers to grow their business and reach new customers, closing several 5 figure revenue opportunities for use of Advertising Mail.Leading an on-site training scheme for external starters to the team, ensuring they were adequately trained and prepared to manage their £4m collective annual sales target.Successfully collaborating cross-functionally to realise revenue within an average of 3 weeks.

I managed client relationships with e-commerce companies in the Birmingham area to help them meet their customer needs, and navigate the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.Key Achievements:Significantly growing a portfolio of customers from a £7.5m annual spend to £10m spend in one year, exceeding my personal target of £9.2m.Successfully negotiating and winning new traffic (including several 6 figure deals) from competitors by utilising the 80/20 principle to focus my time on high potential accounts.Retaining traffic despite significant operational challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic, agreeing long term renewals with key clients (including several 6 figure deals).Successfully gaining election to Royal Mail Sales' Youth Shadow Board where I led an initiative to redefine sales performance management, introducing a new quantitative metric to analyse sales effectiveness and create accurate forecasting models (within 3% accuracy on a 9 figure revenue forecast).
