Within this function, I lead specialised Print Technicians, applying robust planning and organisational competence when creating and allocating work schedules in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and job specifications. I work in a diligent manner, ensuring Critical to Quality (CTQ) process and product variables are understood by the team and accurately controlled to safeguard strip performance and maximise yield. In addition, I lead the manufacturing of Rotary Print Screens to a high standard for usage on high accuracy web printers. With an excellent eye for detail, I accurately review the quality of batch paperwork for submission to QA, with a main focus on the GMP. I am instrumental in the improving of processes, working in unison with engineers, Subject Matter Experts and management, collaborating to resolve problems prior to the implementation phase.I manage production planning, and make the best use of available resources; monitoring and keeping abreast of material requirements to ensure the team is ready at all times to handle production projects.During my employment, I attained status as Subject Matter Expert for medical rotary screen printing. Moreover, I led the setup and ensuring accurate monitoring of web-based rotary screen printers in the manufacture of testing strips for application in the medical arena. I also created and managed Work Instructions and SOPs, ensuring they were up to date and applicable to all processes across the organisation.

Through my role, I confidently operated CNC machines, furnaces, automated robots and process lines. I worked within a cleanroom environment, using a variety of machines and working practices, including etching lines.I was heavily involved in the manufacture of parts for the aerospace industry, which involved application of several types of hand tools, gauges, fixtures, hydraulic or pneumatic tooling to create high-precision hollow titanium fan blades. I was pivotal in the creation of new procedures, alongside leading the updating existing working practices.Working on CSR Lines, Grading, Fitting and Inspection whilst high awareness of dealing with hydrofluoric Acid.

Here, I was wholly responsible for setting up and operating process equipment, while ensuring finished products were created in line with customer needs. I confidently conducted shift process consistency walks, identifying and escalating issues and health and safety concerns to senior management.During this role, I was deeply involved in new product development, establishing and managing the new and innovative ‘nibbles’ product, that led to achieving Product of the Year (2017). Here, I prepared pipework to specification, enabling NDT technicians to test pipework within the mail boiler of the coal fired power station, achieved via performing precision polishing and grinding of pipework. I also filled in important paperwork relating to audit and traceability to support maintenance.Notably, during this role, I was pivotal in the successful rectification of a three-month power station outage at the Aberthaw power station.
