From my earliest memories, I have always been deeply fascinated in the disciplines of science, maths and health which has developed in me a great curiosity for learning. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Griffith University Gold Coast with aspirations to gain entry to the Doctor of Medicine and become an anaesthesiologist. My passion and enthusiasm for understanding the underlying biology of the human body and assisting others in bettering their own lives are the driving force behind my aspirations.Through working in community pharmacy I have already experienced the basics of what a degree in patient care and health can offer. My role as a pharmacy assistant has allowed me to positively interact with a wide diverse range of people, ultimately enhancing my communication skills whilst working as a part of a larger team with the same goal has bettered my teamwork. Being the first point of call for customers experiencing minor illnesses I have also strongly improved my customer service skills and basic clinical knowledge through product & medicine recommendations.I am throughly excited to further my knowledge through my future studies and career.

  As a pharmacy assistant over the last few I have worked with qualified pharmacists in distributing and dispensing prescription and non-prescription medications and health care products for my local community.
