PhD student working with primary mouse models of lung cancer, specifically looking at how lung epithelia eliminate cancer cells in the early days following oncogenic transformation.Expertise in immunofluorescence histochemistry and confocal microscopy. Experienced with flow cytometry, western blotting, qPCR, primary cell isolation, virus production and purification.

Spending time optimising tissue clearing methods in pancreatic tissue samples.Role involves self guided as well as collaborative work, comparing a variety of tissue clearing methods which can later be utilised to image 3D structures within the pancreas using fluorescence microscopy.

Student intern working on signalling in the MAPK pathway. As well as working to help my supervisor, I also had a small project of my own to work on. Skills involved: Gibson cloning, PCR, Site-directed mutagenesis, DNA purification, Cell culture, Western blotting, Immuno-precipitation and establishing stable cell lines.

This role involved documenting and filing shipping orders for a pharmaceutical shipping company. As well as this, I was also responsible for arranging return orders from international clients.
