Interned with Football video during the final semester of my senior year where I both honed and learned many new skills on the XOS platform as well as learning other day to day tasks a video department will see in D1 football. On the XOS platform during this I did a lot of work importing, exporting, editing, and PFFing film. Also learned how to set up team meetings on zoom and in person as well as other day to day assistance that might be needed by coaches and players around the facility. This internship was a great experience as it really increased my knowledge on both filming and editing football video as well as allowing me to become extremely comfortable with the XOS platform.

Recorded practices, scrimmages, and games that I than upload to the XOS platform and which is used by the coaches and players. During my time with the team, I have learned a lot about how to operate a camera for recording football games/practices, but also about the daily operations of a power 5 athletic team and the skills required to work in such a fast-paced field.

Worked here from 7th grade till the summer after my first year of college. Possessed a number of roles in my time here but the biggest was with my roles in their athletic programs. Roles varied from head officiating and co-officiating games as well as coaching the youth that participated in leagues the fundamentals of the game. I worked in sports such as football, basketball, floor hockey, and soccer. All of these different roles taught me a lot about how to be versatile while being able to adapt to different roles at any time. The biggest skillset though that I obtained here was communication skills both verbally but also being able to communicate electronically. Working with kids and running my own summer camp groups being able to communicate verbally with kids as well as their parents is key to a successful summer, it is also important to note that working around kids made me better at deciding whether or not it was an appropriate time to talk bout certain things which can go a long way in the professional world. Electronically I was able to enhance my communication skills through sending weekly emails to parents highlighting the upcoming week as well as staying in contact answering any questions that would get emailed back to me about that week,
