At Haringey Sixth Form College, I have built upon my existing knowledge of the IT curriculum through continuing to deliver IT Level 3 Units such as Information Technology Systems, Creating Systems to Manage Information, IT Technical Support and Management and Programming. In addition to this, I have also delivered content across Level 1 and Level 2 IT, demonstrating strong adaptability and flexibility to create and deliver resources to a wide range of learners of different abilities. Units taught within these levels include Installing & Maintaining Computer Software, Organising a Meeting and Contribute to Running an Event.I also teach on the BTEC Extended Diploma in Business course, with which I have taught content within the Business Decision Making, Principles of Management, International Business, Investigating Retail Business and Visual Merchandising Units to the students.Alongside my teaching duties, I am a Personal Tutor to three Tutor Groups at the College, where I support students pastorally through their college-life, support with their UCAS applications and offer as much guidance as I can as they embark on this stage of their education.As a personal passion, I have created promotional material for the college, where I have advertised the ICT courses, the Business course and also showcased the students' investigation at Coal Drops Yard as part of their coursework for the Investigating Retail Business and Visual Merchandising Units.

Through my employment at PSC, I was a Teacher and Personal Tutor. The course content that I planned, delivered and marked across multiple classes were within the following topics: Database Design, Graphic Design, Computer Systems, Information Systems, E-Commerce, System Analysis Design and an Employability Unit (which aims to strengthen students’ overall interpersonal skills), Using Social Media in Business and Creating Systems to Manage Information.In addition to teaching on the Level 3 course (A Level), I was the sole teacher of the Level 2 IT course, where I supported students with their Level 2 programme at the college, encouraging them as they undertook the IT course, alongside resitting either their Mathematics or English GCSEs. Through my role as Personal Tutor, I supported students pastorally through their transition to college-life, delivered a Tutorial provision curriculum and managed my Tutor's UCAS applications.During my time at Peter Symonds College, I created two promotional videos that advertised the college to prospective learners and parents. These videos were shown at Taster Days and Open Evening sessions.During 2019-2020, I studied the PGCE-FE full-time alongside teaching full-time at Peter Symonds. I carried out a successful action research project to improve learners' overall productivity during their independent study through integrating the Google Classroom Suite and further interactive online technologies. This was particularly useful as it enabled the course to already be fully equipped to meet the demands of working remotely during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Working at Merton Primary school was officially my first full-time work post since graduating in June 2018. The duties I performed, but are not limited to, were reinforcing childrens’ behaviour in and outside of class, helping with lessons presented by teachers, keeping track of progress of the children in class, leading the homework club and also engaging with children on a smaller one-to-one basis if they require further help on certain aspects of the curriculum. In addition to this, I also helped to supervise the children in their break times, which I found to be further time for me to spend with the children to get to know them more, in order to be able to build a stronger rapport with them all.

Through my time working in the John Lewis Partnership, I worked across three branches (Waitrose Andover, Waitrose Basingstoke and John Lewis Westgate Oxford). Through my customer service role, I was an active member of the partnership democracy through being a Partner Voice representative for the Andover branch and I was trained on the following sections: Check-outs, Ambient, Fresh, Deliver, Food Service Counters and Welcome Desk.During my time at John Lewis Westgate Oxford my extra duties responsibilities consisted of learning specific product knowledge in relation to the electrical items I recommended customers purchase, helping with customer deliveries, and also dealing with customer enquiries and complaints directly through their specific internal software.I also received a Recognising Service Brilliance Award from the branch manager during my time working in the brach.

Across the summer holidays in 2017 (June and July), I signed up for the Americamp summer camp programme. For two months, I worked at a summer camp in North Carolina, taking on the role of a Camp Counsellor, primarily being a carer for six children in a cabin (aged 5-8) with my designated co-counsellor. Whilst in addition to this, I was also entrusted in helping ensure the safety of forty children in the section when they were all together. After I had completed the summer programme, for seventeen days I travelled across the United States of America with some of my newly-made friends who worked at the camp with me, visiting South Carolina, New York, New Jersey Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Nashville and Colorado.Throughout my time working as a Counsellor, I helped with the planning, implementation and safeguarding involved within all activities for the children.
