As a recent University of Texas - San Antonio graduate on the dean's list with a BA primarily focused in business management, and secondarily focused in geographic information systems (GIS)/environmental sustainability – I am seeking a full-time position as a Project Manager/Construction Manager with a developer/construction firm in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex to further advance my vast remodeling and renovation experience, project management skills, and advanced technological abilities. For several years during my university studies, I co-owned and operated a residential remodeling company in San Antonio focused on providing high-quality and affordable renovation and remodeling services for residential properties, specifically home renovations in preparation for resale. I was responsible for budgeting, writing quotes, managing the permit process, scheduling subcontractors, and communicating professionally with clients. With my prior management experience, my history working as an independent residential remodeling contractor, and my specialized leadership training –I believe I have developed a strong foundation to become a future Project Manager in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metropolitan Area for an established and thriving construction/development company.
