Graduated Cum Laude from Binghamton University in May 2022 with degrees in French and Francophone Studies and Russian: Literary and Culture Studies. I have always had a passion for foreign languages, cultures, and education and spent 6 weeks living and traveling in France from June - July of 2022 in an effort to solidify my language skills as well as gain valuable, first-hand experience interacting French culture. After graduating, I began to actively search for remote jobs in education and have been fortunate enough to join the Imagine Learning, LLC family. In my current role I am able to have a positive impact on students' learning experiences while also strengthening my own teaching skills. Having the opportunity to tutor middle and high school students has opened my eyes to the importance of education in the United States and I am extremely excited to continue moving forward on my education journey.In addition to working in education, I have also published English-French subtitles for Rachel Lloyd’s 2012 Tedx Talk, available on YouTube, as well as a French-English translation of Arthur Rimbaud’s 1870 poem “Le dormeur du val,” available on WordPress. I have also completed an assortment of French-English and English-French translations for university projects, including a section of the introduction to Claire de Duras’ “Ourika,” an 1868 article on the geology of Mont Blanc, as well as an Old French-Modern French transcription and translation of Francois Rabelais’ introduction to “Gargantua,” published in 1534.
