This key legislation created entirely new challenges for the bank related to how customer data was handled, retained and shared, with legislation becoming law in May 2018. Bombardier is a major aerospace and transportation company based in Edinburgh and in my role as System Administrator, I worked with a team to ensure that all maintenance activity was completed to deadline. This involved in-putting all data into a bespoke management system, scheduling and compiling all paper work for the maintenance teams and compiling plans and 5 direct daily reports. Teamwork, efficiency and attention to detail were all essential to ensuring that our department ran smoothly.
