I had previously worked at Jimmy John’s for nearly two years, being my first job, it taught me many life skills. How to manage money, being on time, responsibility for my own actions to name a few. I learned to work with the public and how to problem solve, as well as the importance of team work. After leaving Jimmy John’s to move onto bigger and better things, I am now employed at Levity Brewing Company where I have been employed for a year now. I have taken on much more responsibility and realized my passion for the kitchen and preparing food for the public. My main duties are prepping early in the morning, working day and night shifts to serve the best food I can to our customers, working with other team members to create memorable and enjoyable events for business meetings, parties etc. Filling in where I’m needed is common, that could mean doing dishes, running food orders and constantly cleaning to ensure our operation is safe and sanitary. I am a ServSafe certified Food Protection Manager which is accredited by the ANSI (American National Standard Institute). An accomplishment I am very proud of and gracious for my employer having opened up that opportunity for me. I hope to someday become a brewer and work in our beer production facet of the company. I love learning about the rich history of beer and the current trends in the industry. I hope this short paragraph gives a good idea of my ambitions and constant striving for improvement of myself and my work.
