Starting in March with all licensing required I was signed off on Air Ground operations in the tower once the complex local and Farnborough procedures were learnt. I completed my FISO training in May and validated in June. The job role has allowed me to expand my knowledge in the field of FISO duties and responsibilities. Alongside my FISO duties my other tasks are:​Planning future and current parking plans for aircraft ranging from microlights to large private ​and non-scheduled commercial aircraft.​Arranging WIP and filing NOTAM's accordingly with senior management and aerodrome ​serviceability.​Co-ordinating drone movements within the FRZ of Blackbushe and conducting the ​necessary risk assessments.​Carrying out correct forms of reporting such as MORs and VORs as well as dealing with the ​resolution of reportable incidents and their outcomes.​Aiding the Accountable Aerodrome Manager in tasks around the airport.

Carrying out refuels both shut down and rotors running. Attending briefings before carrying out any jobs with elements of risk. Working independently with a small team and rapidly becoming familiar with new jobs to minimise delay to customers and sales.Handling of multiple tasks and communications when in the tower to help the safe and efficient flow of traffic in and out the airfield.
