I'm currently on a year long apprenticeship with ITV that will also gain me a Level 3 NVQ Qualification in Business and Administration. Starting off as an assistant PA my role was to help manage calendars, Use iBusiness to construct PO's and expenses, set up meetings and performing general office admin. However the longer I’m here the more roles have opened up to me as different people are looking for my help. Based in the Commercial and Online department I’ve helped in brainstorming meetings, shadowing specific job roles and worked in the ITV Customer Support team where I had to deal with customer responses on the ITV website, test content on a number of platforms and deal with competition winners. Being here for a year, the massive opportunity I need is to get involved in every job role I can.From this I've know moved into the Production realm of the TV Industry and was a Researcher/Studio and Games Team Runner for the big Entertainment show 'Red Or Black?'. I also did some running for the studio show 'Born To Shine' and am currently working on 'I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!' acting as a Team Assistant. I've learnt many skills from this job role as a shadowed the production team heavily - and before they went out to Australia I worked closely with the Producers also.

Starting off in the kitchens I worked my way into a position where I was comfortable with prepping and creating food and at certain times running kitchen shifts. As I got older I was moved out front where I obtained a waitering role dealing with customers, food and general waitering roles. As my role developed I started running the bar, booking rooms for the Bed & Breakfast upstairs and helping to organise charity events, funerals and weddings. I dealt with the majority of the cash flow and would work most shifts from start to finish. I helped organise a lot of events while still dealing with the general food and drink side of the business.
