Born and raised in Montreal, I am both fluent in French and English. Since my mother is a first generation immigrant from Portugal; "Eu falo tambem um pouco português". I am currently in my third semester of studying Health Sciences at the Collège André-Grasset and I am hoping to continue my academic journey in either Physiotherapy or Pharmacy once I reach university.I've been playing sports since the day I was born. I have practiced a wide range of organized sports like soccer, water polo and swimming, but my main athletic focus for the past 7 years has been American football. All this time and effort in sports has taught me many useful skills that could translate directly to my professional career. Communication, work ethic, leadership and staying calm under pressure are a couple good examples of competencies I've acquired. Also, since I've had to juggle my frequent practices and my studies, I have developed excellent time management skills.My personal mantra is: "healthy body, healthy mind". So, I put as much effort in my physical fitness as in my mental health and education. To stay fit, I follow a strict exercise plan and consume a healthy diet. To keep my mind sharp, I study a little everyday, sleep well and make sure to spend time with friends and family.
