Accounting can be fun and exciting especially when I'm on your teamHi, I am Liam! a third-year competitive accounting major with a diverse professional background. Professional Diversity starts with how open you are to new and exciting opportunities. I have always accepted any new opportunity to have a wider breadth of knowledge. My strongest skillsets are being analytical and social. One of my favorite things about studying accounting is critical thinking and problem-solving. In my degree, I have completed many case studies and enjoy the breakdown and solution of a diverse problem. The achievement I'm most proud of as a student is co-writing an open-source taxation textbook so fellow students have a free resource for learning. Before I pursued my post-secondary education I spent my young adult life working in hospitality and volunteering my free time in my local community in the form of youth coaching. When I loosen my tie and rest at home my favorite things to do are watch hockey and play social sports. Golf is one of my favorite sports to play because not only is it a physical activity it's an opportunity to network and socialize.
