One of my key duties is to develop the overall student experience through increasing engagement and participation from the students in sporting activities across all three campuses. Working closely with curriculum teams and tutors across the three campuses allows me to plan, develop and implement initiatives and programmes to cater for each student and curriculum area. Being the main link person with the School Sports Partnership, County Sports Partnership and National Governing body within the county and region has created and maintained strong relationships.I manage a team of external coaches who deliver a wide range of activities as part of the enrichment programme at Chelmsford College. Regular management and effective communication with the coaches occurs on a weekly basis. Identify potential funding opportunities through local partners and funding streams to support the implementation of the enrichment programme is an important role. This allows me to providing volunteer and employment opportunities for the students to develop their employability status.

As Academy Coach at Hitchin Town FC I coached, managed, and coordinated the running of the Academy for two years. Effective communication with players, parents, opponents and league representatives occurred on a weekly basis to ensure fixtures were organised successfully.Thorough planning and evaluation was put into place to ensure high quality coaching delivery to all players.Financial administration to control the overall budget, income and out goings of the academy.

I created several programmes and initiatives at North Hertfordshire College during 2010 - 13, which saw participation levels of students increase from 19,000 hours to 30,000 within just one year. A key role was to ensure more opportunities to participate in sport and activities were created for the students, which improved the overall student experience. Collating regular feedback from the students participating in enrichment activities was important within my role. This ensured that the range of sporting activities and extracurricular activities as part of the enrichment programme was relevant to student demand, needs and abilities.
