Having previously worked in Personal Lines, I have moved to the commercial side of the business and my role involves the following:• Handling new business quotations• Dealing with mid-term adjustments, renewals and policy amendments• Working closely with Account Executives to develop client presentations• Handling policyholder queries• Liaising with Underwriters to obtain the most competitive price for the clients

This role involved arranging and selling Age UK personal lines insurance products including travel insurance. I provide customers with new quotations either by telephone or face to face as well as processing renewals. I also deal with renewals via post and issue policies once the customer has paid the required premium. At times I am also the first point of contact for customer claims and this requires me to be very attentive and helpful as many of our customers can be confused by the claims process.
