With 15 years experience in the economic development field, at both the local and provincial government levels, I’ve had the opportunity to formulate public policy and help entrepreneurs with business start-up and expansion efforts. This work has also included assisting post-secondary institutions and not-for-profits with accessing the funds necessary to undertake projects that are vital not only to their own growth, but also the economic health and vitality of the broader community. This work has allowed me to develop strong leadership and communications skills and given me a great deal of experience in frontline economic development service delivery, policy analysis, and program development.
