I am currently completing my final year as a Recreation and Leisure services student at Algonquin College where I have developed my skills as an outdoor recreation leader and enthusiast. I am committed to the education of outdoor recreation with a strong passion for sports and leisure. Through my community partnership project with the YWCA Banff I was able to demonstrate the ability to increase community development and raise awareness for groups of minority within my community. My work history includes over 4 years of working within the Recreation Industry which was spent honing my skills. I have spent over 3 years working with the Lanark Carleton Minor Hockey Association as a Referee and 2+ years as an assistant coach. I am passionate about advocating for the personal wellness and mental health of all ages through positive recreation facilitation. I am currently seeking a position within the outdoor recreation industry to gain more experience and skills.
