I've been operating a 25-ton dump truck on a wind farm. In this role, it's crucial to prioritize both efficiency and safety, especially when maneuvering heavy machinery around people working on the ground. Additionally, I diligently report any machinery faults to ensure it remains safe for operation.

I became a part of this project as it was nearing completion. I operated a 40-ton dump truck for Wills on the N5 upgrade project in Westport. In this role, my primary responsibility was to guarantee the efficient and safe operation of the heavy machinery amidst the presence of workers on the ground. Additionally, I made sure to promptly report any faults in the machinery to ensure its safe operation.

I worked as a team leader responsible for window installations at this company. My role encompassed ensuring that all work met rigorous quality standards while also addressing customer inquiries regarding our products and installation procedures. Additionally, during a portion of my time here, I specialised in retrofits, which involved working within clients' homes and completing the job with efficiency while accommodating their residential living situations.

During my time here, I took care of every aspect of the job. This ranged from generating precise cutting lists based on plans, all the way to adding the final touches to the installed kitchens. Given the top-notch quality of the kitchens, precision was paramount. I operated a variety of machines including panel saws, edge banders, and more.

During my time at this company, I had the opportunity to enhance my time management abilities, as each parcel had a specific delivery timeframe to adhere to. Additionally, I was responsible for coordinating with customers to confirm their availability at the designated delivery times. Furthermore, I handled monetary transactions and processed receipt returns for some "cash delivery sales."

I worked part-time fitting kitchens and wardrobes. After a short period, I acquired my own tools and began independently installing furniture in the Connaught area. I had to coordinate with a substantial number of customers and organize my weekly schedule. I measured out spaces and constructed furniture to a high standard. This experience honed my attention to detail, as precision in measurements was crucial. Additionally, I was responsible for managing significant amounts of cash and processing invoices and receipts.
