FRI is a global finance initiative commenced in 2013 as a consequence of Pfizer’s new business structure. The purpose of FRI is to segment financial balance sheet information along the 5 business units: GIP, GEP, Vaccine, Oncology and Consumer FRI provides additional financial transparency for selected working capital accounts by BU to enable Pfizer to meet a commitment made to external stakeholders as well as preparing a segmented balance sheet to evaluate potential goodwill impairment associated with the change to the new BU reporting structureIn my current role I am responsible for the submission of the segmented balance sheet for all GFS Europe entities.I am responsible for a team of 12 colleagues with a mixture of individual contributors and people managers.Involved in strategic planning for all FRI team members to look to best utilize resources in periods of down time. I am the first point of contact for NYHQ queries as well as queries from contracted PwC resources.
