* Whenever there was a collision between a road vehicle and train on a level crossing, I had to give a complete history of that level crossing which included any near misses reported, previous collisions, pedestrian and bicycle collisions* Monthly report on level crossings advising on total near misses, collisions, pedestrian / bicycle collisions* Created a Hot Spot level crossing document to advise which level crossings should be upgraded.* Investigated yard derailments for the whole of Queensland Rail’s Network. From derailment reports of years ranging between 2002 – 2007, I worked out the cause and contributing factors which led to the derailment. I then presented these findings and mainline derailments at the Rail Maintenance / Infrastructure conference.
