Managed reservations of long term, overnight and transient guests, resolved customer issues, evaluated competition, set pricing, managed billings and improved marina profitability through more disciplined staffing, operational and financial controls.

Marketing Intern:- Developed a marketing and distribution plan for the launch of a book and toolset for student athletes to help them in creating, developing, and managing their personal brand independently. - Created a go to market strategy, including identifying and contacting key coaches and athlete influencers to endorse the project. - Co-authored a case study on Coca Cola’s brand activism, published by Darden for use in curriculum.NIL:- Researched articles and historical accounts to develop background of NCAA NIL rules limiting the ability of collegiate athletes to profit from their own branding, including litigation, public affairs strategy, and legislative / judicial actions. - Analyzed the portfolio of existing works on NIL strategies to support the positioning and title strategy for our book, developing a competitive profile of potentially competing works (audience, objective, opinion vs practical workbook.)- Synthesized the output of student athletes making experimental use of a draft workbook on building a personal brand.- Drafted summary findings for use by Prof. Whitler in writing the introduction for a book and articles on the topic. - Wrote content and edited the book to tailor its language to a target audience of student athletes. Research Assistant:- Coded board and C-level executive interviews, to document the attributes and levels defining their views.- Developed quantitative analysis and summary findings to support lead researcher in conclusions published in the Journal of Management, including frequency and distribution of definitional terms by corporate role and level.- Researched the history of 31 “brand crises” over the past five years. Identified, coded, and analyzed the events, timing, and 40 other attributes characterizing the corporate and media response to these disasters and the subsequent duration and level of impact on corporate performance and brand equity.

Covered collegiate and high school athletics for daily newspaper with the second highest circulation in Virginia. Analyzed games, interviewed players and coaches, and wrote articles to nightly deadlines.

Assisted coaches in developing film analyses of competitors, current and prospective Redskins player personnel. Helped to break up and edit film in Video Room for viewing by coaches and players.

Supported Front Office in coordinating interviews to ensure media inquiries and player responses stayed within strategic boundaries. Provided mid-game statistics and analytics to media, owners and competing teams. Conducted, recorded and transcribed post game interviews. Wrote content published on Redskins.com
