Current• Liaison: Act as a primary contact between the DWP and local employers. • Advisory Services: Provide guidance and support to employers on recruitment and workforce development. • Promote Programs: Encourage and facilitate employer engagement with DWP initiatives and programs, such as apprenticeships and work placements. • Understand Needs: Assess the needs of local employers to tailor support and services effectively. • Job Matching: Assist in matching job seekers with appropriate employment opportunities. • Support Compliance: Help employers understand and comply with relevant employment regulations and policies. • Networking: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local businesses, training providers, and community organisations. • Market Intelligence: Gather and share insights on local labor market trends and employment issues. • Workshops & Training: Organise and deliver workshops and training sessions for employers on various topics like diversity, inclusion, and effective recruitment practices. • Problem Solving: Provide solutions to employers facing challenges in hiring or workforce management. • Reporting: Monitor and report on employer engagement activities and outcomes.
