I worked as a street fundraiser which entailed approaching the public for donations. Skills -Learning, understanding and applying knowledge at the fore front of current affairs -Getting into debates and having to think on your feet-Being a strong communicator with potential sign ups -Patience and persistence from long working hours on cold streets

Cleaner at Phoenix halls residence to international students.Skills-Flexibility as I had to balance this job with two other jobs. I learned how to balance my life so that I could attend each job and still remain accountable. -Time management due to having to complete a set of halls while residence were away. -Standards complete each task with the same standard of quality each time.

I had the privilege of being part of a community group which looked to push a sustainable way of living for those that lived there. This coincided with the Paris climate conference (COP21).This community group partnered up with the international company Bioregional and used their 'One Planet Living' as a framework to push sustainability. Skills-Producing information appropriate for different audiences. -Making contact with media outlets to promote events-Liaising with members of the community to understand their point of view-Attending and contributing in meeting on the next steps towards a greener community
