As a Resident Clerk of Works I am part of a team responsible for the on-site supervision of the construction stage of a contract.My duties include but are not limited to the following;- Supervise contractor(s), site operations;- Monitor quality control and ensure quality of materials used in the works complies with the specification requirements, including site testing as required;- Ensure the quality of completed work is in accordance with the terms of the specification;- Ensure that other supervisory staff are kept informed and up to date on any matters that may influence their work;- Keep a comprehensive diary constituting a detailed work history of construction work and significant happenings on the site including delays, weather, disputes and adverse physical conditions;- Ensure that detailed reports, diaries and records, including photographic records in relation to all aspects of progress of the works are kept and available for inspection by authorised personnel;- Be aware at all times of the duties of contactors, sub-contractors, direct labour staff and any others under the Safety Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations, 2013 and all relevant safety legislation.- Deal with landowner and other stakeholder queries in the day to day management of the works;

• Ensure infrastructure within new development schemes were installed as per agreed design •Ensure all foul/domestic infrastructure was installed as per IW standard details and COP• Site inspections for QA in relation works methodology, workmanship and material used • Witness testing of water/foul lines, manholes and pump stations• Ensure all legal requirements were meant inrelation to Deed of Easements/Licensed Agreements and Wayleaves
