Education: I am a grade 12 student currently attending Centennial C.V.I. I have excelled in academic and university-level courses getting on the honors roll in grades nine, ten, and eleven. My schooling has helped develop problem-solving skills which can be applied to situations I find myself in on the job.Awards: Recived the grade 8 math award. My job experience: My work experience has given me important skills that I can use while working amongst a team. A few of my skills include learning new skills quickly, efficient at receiving information and then using it to complete tasks, inventory management, managing my time, presenting ideas to help solve problems, and working on my own.My Skills: Working in the meat department where products are time sensitive it has developed my inventory managment skills. Knowing when to put out a product vs knowing when not to put out a product, reciving new inventory, ordering new inventory, and filling the stock are all include in inventory managment. My ability to work with others as a team is also a skill that I poses. Constantly having to work on tasks along side other employees has helped devlop this skill. Working in groups on school assignments has also developed this skill. My customer servive skills have also been devloped because of working at Zhers. From simply talking to customers when selecting a product from the meat counter, and being asked questions when on the floor my ability to confidentally talk with customers has devloped.
