Provide, monitor and review a range of business planning, forecasting, management reporting and advice work to Ongo Homes and other companies in the Ongo Group, ensuring that all management information is produced in an accurate and timely fashion in accordance with the agreed deadlines.Investigate and analyse all expenditure against plan and produce reports and commentaries for review by the Head of Finance before submission the Board and other relevant groups.Research and make recommendations relating to income and expenditure for maximising the value for money strategy.Responsible with others in the team in the preparation of the budget and ongoing 12 monthly forecast.

Sections, Rail And Rods

Provide a comprehensive Business Partnering service to the Scunthorpe Rail and Section Mill (SRSM) and Scunthorpe Rod Mill (SRM).As Finance Business Partner I am involved in all financial aspects pertaining to the asset, from management accounting, budgeting and forecasting, commercial analysis, and assisting with strategic decision making. I act as the finance point of contact for Operational Management, Commercial teams and Finance Senior Management for SRSM and SRM, answering ad hoc queries and representing Finance in operational, commercial and multi-disciplinary meetings and reviews.I am responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate preparation of management accounts and weekly/monthly report by Accounting and Transactional Centre of Excellence (ATCE), retaining responsibility for signing off P&L and Balance Sheet each month.My remit includes the ongoing development of finance systems and reporting relating to SRSM and SRM, ensuring continued optimisation of information flows to stakeholders.

Scunthorpe Rail And Section Mill

Responsible for preparation of monthly management accounts, stock reconciliations, management reporting, input into annual review of standards and annual plan, calculation of product costs. Provide ad hoc support to the Finance Manager.
