I teach Chemistry, Advanced Chemistry, and Environmental Science to students in grades 10 - 12. I also work as the Theatre Program Director - this entails serving as the faculty advisor for the middle and upper school drama clubs, directing the Fall musical production, acting as a technical director for other productions, and teaching a Theatre Performance course in the upper school.

I have taught workshop classes after school at various elementary and middle schools as well as summer camps, working with children grades 1 through 8. These workshops and camps focuses on fun hands-on science activities and demos for students who enjoy science and want to learn more about STEM subjects.

Supervise the students who participate in the Lighting and Sound Crews (approximately 25 students) in the Proscenium Drama Club at John Jay High School. I act as a mentor to the students to teach them the process on how to do lighting and sound designs and how to work with lighting and audio equipment in the theatre. I also teach the student stage managers how to run a production as well. The students produce at least two productions a year: a straight play and a musical. I also help the other advisors run the theatre club as a whole as well.

Assisting the lab instructor teach a General Chemistry Lab section. Helping students with lab procedure, explaining chemistry concepts to students, showing students how to perform chemistry techniques, ensuring a safe lab environment.

Developed Lesson and Unit plans and delivered instruction to students under the supervision of a classroom teacher. Created homework, classwork, lab activities and assessments for the classes utilizes various teaching strategies such as flipped classroom, inquiry based learning, Socratic Seminar, authentic learning, and lab based activities. I worked with three sections of Honors Chemistry at the High School level as well as 5 sections of 8th grade physical science.
