Runs New Orleans' nonprofit journalism program for BIPOC/LGBTQ+ high schoolers in all administrative and program-based functions. JRNOLA is New Orleans' de facto high school newspaper — most often published via Gambit — as nearly zero schools in the city fund journalism. Via publication in outlets like Teen Vogue and The Washington Post on issues of national interest, JRNOLA also serves as the foremost youth outlet of Louisiana and The South on the whole. Instructs professional-level reporting from the ground-up: podcasting, pitching, research, source cultivation, interview techniques, writing, editing, etc. Fundraises, organizes meetings, hosts classes with BIPOC/LGBTQ+ guest speakers, edits and mentors for 20+ hours per individual student piece. Students paid $4,000+ to publish in professional outlets like Teen Vogue, Gambit Weekly, and (upcoming) The Washington Post.

Researched and oversaw over 70 interviews—all with aims for production for NPR and NRDC audio slideshows.
